Fundaţia de Sprijin Comunitar
Registered in 1997 and based in Bacău, Fundaţia de Sprijin Comunitar (FSC) is one of Romania's largest NGO's, catering to the needs of the underprivileged, the homeless, the elderly, including street children and Rroma. In 2012, FSC helped approximately 11.000 people, beneficiaries are from rural areas, children and young people, elderly and adults.

Relief Fund for Romania
Formed by prominent Romanian exiles resident in the UK in 1989 after the collapse of the dictatorship, Relief Fund for Romania (RFR) was instrumental in publicising the appalling plight of orphans and others in need. RFR is thus a British charity, based in the UK, that raises funds and spends them in Romania. It played a major part in coordinating the enormous aid response from all over the UK and transported huge quantities of emergency supplies. RFR also helped to network many independent aid efforts. In recent years it has set up and run various long-term sustainable projects.

The Little People
It is a leading association that fights against cancer in Romania through its efforts to empower teenage cancer survivors who visit patients across hospitals in Romania, offering critical support and encouragement to their peers struggling this disease. The association work closely with volunteers; these are students, parents, doctors, business leaders, actors and football players.
